Our senior pastors PJ & Elizabeth Booth started Open Arms Church in 1996 with a few core leaders who met together to pray. It was over the next 4 years that everything started to come together and an exciting journey began that has led us to become a local church that has not only impacted our community, but is impacting our nation.

Open Arms Church was launched on Easter Sunday 2000 with 30 people. Since then, God has moved in amazing ways and used Open Arms to change thousands of lives in the Leinster area and beyond. Today we have 800 members attending our church.

Sean & Gillian Booth are the lead pastors of Open Arms Dublin. In 2012 God put it on Sean & Gillian's heart to plant a church in South Dublin.

This vision of a life giving church in a growing community has continued to develop and become a reality over the last 6 years.

Sean & Gillian have two young boys with another one on the way and are passionate about seeing people find new life through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Their heart is that everyone would know that there is hope and life found in Jesus.

Our vision is to be a life giving church that brings hope to our city, health to our community and create an environment that empowers people to live out their God-given calling.

We are launching with a full kids church for babies right through to primary school. We want to create an atmosphere where kids are dragging their parents to church.

We will have services every Sunday at 11am starting March 11th at Clayton Hotel, Leopardstown. The hotel has underground car parking that will be validated for anyone attending our services.

The service will last about an hour and ten minutes & will consist of 4 songs of worship, practical teaching from the Bible (listen here) and time after the service for connection and community over tea/coffee & biscuits.

We have an environment for babies and toddlers from 0-3 years old, facilitated by an experienced and trained team. It will be a safe, clean and engaging environment for your little one. The are an array of toys and games available for your child and there will be a short bible lesson also. Included in this environment is an area for nursing mothers.

At Kids Church we run a full church service tailored specifically for children ages 4-12. Our goal is to connect kids to kids and to connect kids to God; we do this through creating a safe environment as all of our volunteers have undergone training in child protection procedures. Every service is a fun-filled time, with action packed games and vibrant teachings - this isn't just babysitting! We want to see your children grow in their walk with God. Our Kids Church service runs at the same time as the adult service. For more information or to see what we do, please feel free to visit.
